In order to provide residents of the Chattahoochee River Club the opportunity to learn first-hand about the issues in the litigation which could involve them personally, the Mommies Team invited them to attend one of three informational forums at the Old Atlanta Recreation Center. We held these forums on September 19, 2019, September 24, 2019 and September 26, 2019 and all of them started at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of these informational forums was to educate the attendees about the relevant legal issues and facts and circumstances involved in the Quiet Title Action and we invited opposing counsel and representatives of Forsyth County to attend. The session format included a presentation about use of the website and a discussion of the relevant issues and there also was a question and answer portion where we were willing to responding to any questions that were asked. We videotaped all three of the sessions so that those who were not able to attend but wanted to learn more will be able to do so.

While we did not know what to expect, we were somewhat surprised that no residents of the Chattahoochee River Club took advantage of any of these opportunities. At the first session, there were a total of two attendees, one person who elected to leave with plans to return the following week and one of the attorneys from some related litigation who thought attending would be a good way to get up to speed in his case (he arrived a little late but stayed the entire time). Nobody appeared at the second or third sessions.
