EPILOGUE

The "High Gables Fiasco" as it came to be known around the Oldham household finally ended with a whimper in August of 2006 with the removal of the last protest against the oppression of the HOA Board, the catfish mailbox.

POST EPILOGUE - AUGUST 12, 2007

I quit making any active postings to this site in September of 2006 and have decided not to spend any more time on it.  I intend to leave it posted in perpetuity, however, so that this travesty will never fade from the neighborhood consciousness and so that one day our grandchildren will be able to review the facts for themselves and will be able to make their own determination as to why their Grandpa is a bitter old man (I am just kidding, of course, and wanted those of you who might have ventured here either for the first time, or in an attempt to see if the psychosis remains, to have one final chuckle).  It was fun while it lasted, and I have moved on to other crusades.
